pressurised/revealed; Laura Sachs, 15. — 17. Juni 2018

Abstract assemblages composed of different materials characterize the artistic work of Laura Sachs. Her abstract works, held in a minimalistic chromaticity always have a common origin: three-dimensional everyday objekts are transferred into a two-dimensional form through photography or drawing; These used as a source for the finishied Images resulte in structures and patterns in the work of Laura Sachs, which are always based on the extremely reduced three-dimensional objects. But even the works themselves are - due to their materiality - not purely two-dimensional, flat "images", but rather they alternate between painting and object-like character.
